I am trying to: Update Toolset Types plugin from Version 3.5.2 to 3.6.0
Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
I expected to see:
Instead, I got: Message displayed onscreen is: Update failed: Download failed. cURL error 7: Failed to connect to d5ja1znhigcop.cloudfront.net port 443: Connection timed out
I have tried deactivating the All in one security, WordFence and WP fastest Cache plugins but still get the error. Can you please advise as to what might be cusing this issue?
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
I would like to inform you that we just published new version for the following Toolset plugins and that contains the fix for the issue "select all checkbox broken" on post type listing page.
Could you please update ALL Toolset plugins to it's latest officially released version. You can download the latest plugin release from your account's Downloads page:
=> https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
Many aplogogies for the delay in responding. Unfortunately the issue is still there, I went to the update the plugins and clicked to update the Toolset Types plugin from the Plugins page in WordPress and still get exactly the same error message. Do I need to try updating via another method?
Thank you for getting back to us. Minesh will be available tomorrow, but before that I'd appreciate it if you could try the manual update method?
- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Make sure you are signed in toolset.com.
- Go to https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
- Click the "Download Toolset manually" link to show the rest of the plugins on the page.
- Download the latest version of Toolset plugins.
- Install them manually like any other plugin.
- On the screen that WordPress asks if you are sure to replace the new version, say yes.
If I try the new plugins on a test / staging site how does that work with licenses? We only have the one license, can I add a staging / test site and it be temporarily allowed with the one site licsense?
I already have a test copy of the site but it's on a newer / latest version or WordPress but testing it there would be sensible first I guess.
I also just want to make sure no plugin data will be lost when I update the live site with this plugin install method you are asking me to try?
