Hi there,

I reached out to Kadence Theme support regarding our 404 page on a site rebuild.

The mega menu is breaking on the 404 page only.

This the link: hidden link

Kadence support said:
I see the issue now, and the issue is that Toolset's styling is now showing on 404.
I suggest you contact Toolset support and tell them how to make the "tces-js-style-encoded" show on 404 pages.

You can see the issue, however over Destinations or Collections in the nav menu. Any thoughts please?

Thank you.

Do I understand this correctly? The mega menu is broken on the 404 page because Toolset Blocks styling is missing?

Meaning, you designed the mega menu with Toolset Blocks?

Hi Nigel,

Yes you understand the issue and yes it's built with Toolset Blocks.

Throughout the site we've used a mix of Kadence and Toolset Blocks with no issue.

However, working on something else I've discovered, when using Toolset Blocks in Kadence Elements, there can be issues.

Toolset blocks are far better and we need less of them which is better, however if you think this is the issue...I'll have to rebuild the mega menus?

Thanks, Pete

Hello Pete,

Unfortunately, the 0 bug software is just a myth. There will always be bugs and compatibility conflicts. And if you can provide steps to reproduce any issues with Kadence, we'll be very happy to fix it.

However, I would like to suggest a workaround. Why not build a custom page with Kadence and Toolset blocks to be used as the 404 error page. Then add a custom code or use a plugin that will display this page when WordPress encounters a 404 error. Something like:

All the best,
Jamal
