Views plugin active-I lose my home page except for footer-deactivate plugin, home page opens normally. Using Kleo theme & WPBakery builder. I had started trying to redo my site, set up some types, fields & taxonomies & a view. Deleted the views after I saw the problem but my site was still not loading correctly. I was trying to follow the video tutorial that Amir Helzer gave a little while ago.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Well - In order to find the primary cause of the issue, what if you try to follow the following basic debug steps:
1)
Could you please activate WP_DEBUG from the wp-config.php file and send me possible errors for review.
2)
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
3)
If #1 and #2 does not help:
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
Hi Minesh.
Thank you. I will try # 2, as I am not comfortable going into the cpanel to activate WP_DEBUG.
If no results there I will contact you re # 3.
Hi Minesh.
Tried # 2 but did not help problem. With views activated, my site home page, the theme page, is completely altered. Could you send me the "private form" to allow me to send you my confidential info. Thx. Stan Creatchman
Can you please share few screenshot of your issue as well.

Well - the files you shared, couple of links not working for me so I'm trying to download the duplicator copy from your site. Please hold on for further updates.
Hi Minesh.
Thank you but removing that template is a problem as the home page is not rendered correctly.
If you click on any of the top menu buttons a white box appears, which should not happen, the language flags were all lined up on the right side, not right & left like it is now, & the "services" buttons do not work correctly. The menu items layout is also not as I had installed it. I was hoping the deactivated template was one which I had put in there when experimenting with Toolset. Unfortunately since it is a WP Bakery page template that is probably why the page is not rendering properly at this point. When I first looked at Toolset I asked if it worked properly with the Kleo theme & I was told, no problem. But the Kleo theme comes with WPBakery as the essential build component. So removing WP Bakery page builder is not an option. Please let me know if there is anything else that can be done. Stan C.
Well - the content template which I moved to trash is actually a empty content template. I restore it again so you can check:
=> hidden link
In addition to that the homepage does not use now Content Template or any other entity belongs to Toolset.
Are you using Bootstrap with your site - I see there was a CSS conflict of Bootstrap CSS loaded by Toolset, so I've deactivate the Bootstrap CSS from:
=> Toolset => Settings => General => Bootstrap loading => This site is not using Bootstrap CSS
I see home page is displayed now normal, could you please confirm.
Hi Minesh.
Thank you. The home page is now loading properly with the views plugin active.
I am not using Bootstrap, but since there was a "CSS conflict of Bootstrap CSS loaded by Toolset" perhaps I inadvertently loaded something when I was experimenting. My expertise level is very low so I realize that checking things out can lead to trouble. Thank you much for not giving up as I was starting to think that there was an irreparable contradiction between my Kleo theme & Toolset.
