Tell us what you are trying to do?
I use Toolset Maps together with the plugin "BORLABS COOKIE" from Borlabs (which is one of the most used and best plugins for gdpr/Cookie Consent/Bar/Popup in Germany with over 250.000 active installations).
'cause of the GDPR I urgently need to solve to block all google connections before the user has confirmed that.
I've tried it to block here:
[borlabs-cookie id="googlemaps" type="cookie"]{!{wpv-view name='standortkarte'}!}[/borlabs-cookie]

Is there any documentation that you are following?

what do you mean with "CT" in ### Approach 2, Toolset and Custom HTML/JS solution
Maybe the "Inhalts-Templates"? I've build now one with the name "consent" and haven't assigned it to and taxonomy
but if I add this now to my view, it won't be accepted and it loads still some content from googlemaps and don't ask my for permission and don't show the map...

What is the link to your site?

directly above the contact form

The best would be if you add an option to this great plugin to work GDPR-conform.
At least in Europe we can't use any plugins that don't follow these rules...

Can you help me to find a good solution?

Cheers

Andreas

Hi there,

We do not have compatibility with Borlabs Cookie plugin so that will not be an option for you.

To answer the questions you have about the ticket you shared:

CT means a content template that you can add from Toolset > Content Templates.

You need to add the custom HTML and JS code into that Content Template,

Then add the HTML content inside where you want to show the map. (make sure you replace map-id with the ID of your map)

There is no implementation for a native consent feature for the time being.

You can add it here as a feature request:

Thanks.
