Tell us what you are trying to do?
Trying to use FontAwesome icons with Toolset

In Toolset > Settings > Font Awesome, I have " Toolset should use Font Awesome 5 (5.13.0) " checked.

If I add a Toolset Button block, NO icon shows by default, and choosing the FontAwesome icon set, displays nothing.
If I choose "Expert Settings" with the FontAwesome icon set selected, the "CSS File URL" is set to:
hidden link
.. with no Font Family Name filled in, and no Font code filled in. See attached screenshot.
Why does this link to 4.7.0 instead of 5.13.0?

I CAN select the Dashicons set, and it points to the local WordPress Dashicons CSS file with the "FontAwesome" Font Family name filled in. The icons display, and I can choose an icon.

How is this Toolset panel working? Where does it get the links to the CSS files? How does it pick the Font Family Name?

In the past, everything seemed to work as expected in this panel, and I never had to choose "Expert Settings" to get any/all icons to display properly.

Thanks for any help.

Hi there,

I checked my installation and I could not see the issue. I was able to select Font Awesome with the same button icon. Please check the screenshot.

Would you please make sure that you use the latest version of Toolset? If not please follow the steps below:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab)".
- Click the "Check for Updates" button.
- Update Toolset and its addons there.

Also please check and see if there is no possible plugin conflict causing the fonts not loading.

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except Toolset and its add-ons.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

Finally, make sure that your server does not block access to: hidden link

Thanks.

Everything is up to date.
Disabled all plugins.
Tested with Twenty-Twenty One theme.

Unfortunately, the issue remains.

NOTE: The console shows this warning:

downloadable font: no supported format found (font-family: "onthegosystems-icons" style:normal weight:400 stretch:100 src index:1) source: (end of source list)

If I cycle through the three choices in the dropdown (dashicons, fontawesome, iconicons), the chosen icon set MAY populate/display - but not consistently.
.. and again, the versions/font-family displayed in the expert settings do NOT seem to correspond to the chosen icon set.
Example: If I choose Dashicons, "Font Awesome" font-family is prefilled in expert settings.

Hi there,

Thank you and sorry for the late reply, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard of the copy of the website?

Make sure you set the next reply as private.

I will also need your permission to copy the website to our server for further investigation if the issue persists.

Just FYI, I will attempt to deactivate plugins and change theme along the way so I suggest you provide us a staging version of the website.

Thank you.
