This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello,
We use Toolset Maps on this page : hidden link
This page is very slow when we launch it on a new browser : between 5 and 10 seconds.
I need to increase the performance we display only 150 places. If I reduce the number of places to display the page loads faster... But in fact I cannot reduce this number how can I increase the load of this page ?

Thank you for getting in touch.

I did a quick check on the site and in fact it is loading slowly.

The problem seems to be as you say the loading of 150 posts for the map. I would suggest taking a look at this link below.

As well as installing a caching plugin such as WP Super Cache.

Hello Shane,
Two informations :
We use WPML so I think that the View Caching will not work.
we use WP Rocket which is a caching plugin.

150 posts for the map is not a big number (I think) how can we optimize the load of the page ?

Hi Olivier,

Would you mind allowing me to have a quick look at your site on the backend ?

I would like to see if the maps caching is active and working correctly.

What could be happening is that it's making the request to google each time the page is loaded. Which can cause the page load to be slow.

I will also be checking the view to see what else is being loaded.

Hi Olivier,

Thanks for the credentials I was able to load up the maps cache and see that the addresses were being cached correctly.

Is it possible to disable all the non-toolset plugins and check again ? When I checked the network load time for some of the files i'm seeing 5 seconds, 4 seconds etc on some of the php files which is quite strange as they shouldn't be taking so long to load.

These files are mainly from Woocommerce as well as WP Menu Cart Pro plugin.

Please try this if possible and let me know the results.
