Hello:

I have a web page using types, views and forms plugins. Now, every time I enter in a content template, I see a white screen only. I created a staging clone of the site in order to solve the problem. I changed the theme to Twenty nineteen but the problem was still there. I deactivated all plugins except toolset ones. The problem the problem was still there. I deactivated toolset forms and the problem dissapeared.

My conclusion is that the Toolset forms plugin is causing my problem. You have attached the url, admin user and password of the staging site.

Regards.

Thank you for sharing the problem URL but unfortunately the wp-admin access details you shared is not working at this end.

Can you please send me working admin access derails and I am happy to look at the issue.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

This is strange - I've just created a brand new content template as you can see with the following link:
=> hidden link

I do not see the issue, what if you try to create another brand-new content template and check if that helps or am I missing any steps that lead me to reproduce the issue?

#1688621

I think the problems start when you add a form to the content template. Try adding a form to your content template and you'll see the white screen.

I just added one of the existing form available to the content template and I still do not able to replicate the issue.

You can see the content template here:
=> hidden link

I can't replicate the problem either.

More info:

  • There are 2 content templates that show the white screen: "Template editar entrada de usuario" and "Template editar subida de usuario".
  • These templates are used in two different views: "Lista de subidas de un usuario" and "Lista de entradas de usuario". In both cases, the content template is used to edit a post.

I hope this info is useful.

Regards.

Yes - I can see the issue with the content template you mentioned but I do not know how exactly you build it.

What if you try to create a brand new template and check if you still able to see the issue and if you see the issue please kindly share the exact steps that should help me to reproduce the issue.

Hello,

After some test, I have concluded that new content templates work properly. I am able to create a new content template, use a edit post form inside and create a view to edit posts using the previous content template. Everything works fine.

What could be the problem? The way I created the two problematic content templates. "Template editar subida de usuario" was imported from a different web page I made last summer using Toolset Module Manager. I created "Template editar entrada de usuario" by duplicating "Template editar subida de usuario". Both show the white screen. This way, the problem might be that the template that was imported is "broken". I checked the web where "Template editar subida de usuario" was originally created and doesn't show the white screen and works properly.

One thing I forgot to mention is that "Template editar subida de usuario" shows the white screen when you try to edit it but works properly in the frontend.

Regards.

That is really strange.

Do you have that export file that contains the exported content template and I will try to use the same export and try to import on my machine.

Also, when did you exported those content template - in last year or recently?

#1690243

Fortunately, I saved the export file and know the exact date of its creation: 2020-03-24. Here you have the link:

I just tried to import the exported zip you shared and it was successfully imported.

Then, I navigate to Toolset => Content Templates => Edit "Template editar subida de usuario" and I can see its just working as expected. Please check the following screenshot:
=> hidden link

I do not able to reproduce the issue.

More test I have done:

- I re-made the problematic template and called it "Template editar subida de usuario2". Then I modified the view where the problematic template is used in order to change to the new template. Both, the view and "Template editar subida de usuario2", worked properly. No white screens.

- Then I deleted "Template editar subida de usuario". I duplicated "Template editar subida de usuario2", called it "Template editar subida de usuario" and then deleted "Template editar subida de usuario2". In this exact moment, editing "Template editar subida de usuario" showed the white screen. I modified the wiew again to use "Template editar subida de usuario" but, as I said before, the white screen was already being showed.

- Then I deleted "Template editar subida de usuario" and I created it again. Now, both the view and the template work ok. No white screens.

It is a little bit convoluted but it's what I have done.

Do these tests give you a clue as to what the problem might be?

Regards.
