Hello,
This is more of a presale question, as I am familiar with Toolset a good bit, having used on a few sites before. But I have a new project that I would like to use it for and wasn't sure if it will fit our needs or not, so I wanted to ask in advance.

We will be creating a Directory with front-end submission. Below are a few key things we need in terms of functionality, can you confirm if this will all work within Toolset and/or if any other plugins or extensions may be needed.

We will be offering the listing submission for FREE with basic fields. We would like the ability to have "Extra Paid Fields". We need the ability for them to select to add/remove the paid fields and have the cart update with the purchase price of these paid fields. Once the user has filled in all the fields they choose (paid or free) they would be taken to WooCommerce Checkout to complete payment for the listing.

Additionally, users will need to be able to access their submitted forms under their account to make edits or purchase additional paid fields - if purchasing paid fields it will again add the price of each field to the cart and prompt them to checkout in order to complete the updated form submission.

I know that Toolset can work with WooCommerce but wasn't sure if it could work together in this way. I appreciate you response. Thanks!

Hi Caitlin,

Thank you for getting in touch.
We need the ability for them to select to add/remove the paid fields and have the cart update with the purchase price of these paid fields. Once the user has filled in all the fields they choose (paid or free) they would be taken to WooCommerce Checkout to complete payment for the listing.

Now you are able to create Paid posts but not Paid Fields. The best option here would be to offer different packages with different number of paid fields rather than having the user dynamically adjust the pricing based on the number of paid fields.

Usually the pricing is fixed based on the Woocommerce product's price that is attached to the form.

Toolset wouldn't be a good fit for this project given the requirements of the paid fields. If it were just a paid post then Toolset could work.

Thanks,
Shane
