[Resolved] Toolset dynamic image block not showing available fields

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The user was unable to choose the dynamic source for an Image block inside of a content template.

Solution:
We have a known issue similar to this one that happens especially for a content template that has advanced conditions, for example, conditions on taxonomies.

As a workaround, create a new content template and assign it only to the custom post type. Then, create the block inside of it and you will be able to choose the image. After that, make that block reusable, and you can reuse it in your current content template.

I am trying to create a new content template using the block editor. When I insert a new dynamic image I can set the post source to "current entry" but then, when I try to select the custom field in the source I don't see any of the image fields from the custom post type!?

I only see entry url and author picture url (see attachment), whereas I would expect to see all the image fields from the related content post type.

Can you pls help? Thanks.

Hello and thank you for contacting Toolset support.

Does it make sense?

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
