We need to have a Free and Paid Listing option available on our Directory. The Paid Listing will include additional fields that are not available if the user chooses a Free Listing - however, the user should be able to choose a Paid Listing at a later date if they want to upgrade their existing listing.
I've been reviewing the WordPress Directory and Classifieds Listing Site Courses, but I only see one section that states how to charge a fee. I don't understand from the instructions how to charge based on the form fields. I'm looking for more information on how to allow the User to choose between the our two options (Free & Paid), which in turn would make certain fields visible or not visible.
For example, a Basic Listing would include:
Name
Email
Address
A Paid Listing would include:
Name
Email
Address
Logo (hidden on Free)
Photos (hidden on Free)
Questions:
1. How do we set certain fields to be hidden unless the User selects Paid Listing?
2. Where do we include this option for Users to choose their form type (Free or Paid)? Is this done by setting up two WooCommerce products (one for Free and one for Paid) - can I then choose which fields are visible?
I'm very confused on how to show and hide fields based on whether the User pays for the listing or not. I appreciate any help.
