This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The issue here is that the user's content disappears when they activate the blocks plugin.
Solution:
Logging in and checking this user's site it turns out that they actually have an empty content template assigned to their posts.
Deleting this empty template resolved the issue.
This support ticket is created 4 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.
