[Resolved] Toolset Blocks, images and kadence columns problems and other problems.

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here was that user was having issues with the kadence plugin and toolset blocks when it comes to the width of the columns

Solution:

In this user's case it was the theme that was setting a fixed width for the view that the columns were in.

So we would've had to change the width settings of the view to accommodate the multi columns.

Hello,

I have tried to make a layout for the shop page of my WooCommerce and I have multiple problems with its visualization.
The image of the products is not shown, the columns of kadence are not respected, the texts of the fields are shown in several columns, other elements are shown that I have not included in the page, the background of the columns of kadence is compressed .
I am using the Astra Pro theme that you told me was the most compatible with Toolset.
Please, see what is happening.
I include screenshots with all these problems.
Please, I need an urgent solution to all these problems.

Hi Shane,
I have BackupBuddy installed, but if you wish you can install duplicator.
Tell me something when you investigate it.
Thanks for you help.

Hi Francisco,

It seems the issue is that Kandence plugin isn't compatible with astra, however i'm doing further checks on a fresh site to confirm this.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Francisco,

It seem that this is definitely a theme issue since the same problem occurs with the default column settings for the gutenburg editor.

Is it possible for you to use another theme ?

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

I asked you in another ticket for advice on buying a theme fully compatible with Toolset, WPML and Gutemberg and you told me that the best theme was Astra. I bought it, now you can't tell me to change the theme. 🙁

Please tell me how to solve this problem.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Francisco R.

Hi Francisco,

In the previous ticket you mentioned compatibility with Toolset.

I can only advise on items that are compatible with toolset based on our documentation. Now during further checks i realise that the product archive specifically has a reduced container width.

I've added this to your site's custom css to resolve the issue for you.

#wpv-view-layout-62{
 width: 100%;
}

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

There is another problem that has not been resolved.
The "Precio" label and the product price are shown in 2 lines. I have used a block "TB Fields and Text" as your documentation indicates. In your documentation it is shown in a single line.
What could be happening?
Thanks for your help.

Jose A.Molina

Hi Jose,

Ok so the problem here is that the price shortcode for woocommerce create the price with a p tag, which is a block level element.

This is why it is in a next line. The solution to this was to wrap the price text in a p tag a float it to the left like this.

<p style="float: left;">Price </p>

Thanks,
Shane

Thank you very much Shane.
This should also be taken into account by the Toolset Blocks development team.

Again. Thanks for your help.

Hi Jose,

Actually this one wouldn't be on our end, because with the shortcode what we are doing is calling the price function for woocommerce, which is how woocommerce would naturally display the item.

So we are not creating the custom elements for woocommerce rather just hooking into the default woocommerce functions so that the items can be re-arranged in the layout.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

The problem with the solution you have given me is that the price is shown completely attached to the "Precio" label.
Can this problem be solved?

Thanks for your help.
