[Resolved] Toolset Blocks and Toolset Views plugins issue

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

I'm unable to activate both Toolset Blocks and Toolset Views plugins simultaneously.

Solution:

Toolset Blocks and Toolset Views share the same codebase, so having both activated isn't feasible. Deactivate and uninstall Toolset Views; Toolset Blocks inherently include the older functionalities. To access the classic views within Toolset Blocks, follow the steps in "Toolset > Settings > General" and enable legacy views.

I am trying to: Activate both plugins - Toolset Blocks and Toolset Views

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: Both plugins are activated.

Instead, I got: Toolset Block activated and Toolset Views deactivated.

Hi there,

Toolset Blocks and Toolset Views are the same plugins with the same codebase, Toolset view is there for customer having the older versions.

You can deactivate and uninstall Toolset Views and keep using Toolset blocks.

If you want to enable the classic views on Toolset blocks please follow the steps below:

- Go to "Toolset > Settings > General".
- Find the "Editing experience" section.
- Check the "Show both the legacy and Blocks interface and let me choose which to use for each item I build" checkbox.
- Reload the browser page.
- Go to the newly added "Toolset > Views" menu.
- There you will be able to edit the views.
