Hi, I'm building a website with Toolset and Elementor. I built an elementor template for a taxonomy archive, then I built, in a Toolset Content template, a Block View to display a CPT filtered by the archive taxonomy. Finally, I've added the view into the elementor template using the "Toolset view elementor block".

It worked fine, but, if the first post of the list has been built with Elementor (some of them uses Elementor some other not), the archive page displays that post instead of the view. If the first post is not using Elementor, the view is displayed correctly.

I found a workaround, instead of the "Toolset view elementor block", I've used a "shortcode elementor block". If I add the view shortcode, it still doesn't work, if I add the Content template shortcode, then it works fine.

cheers

Hi there,

According to the documentation below:

https://toolset.com/course-lesson/using-toolset-with-elementor-page-builder/#Limitations-when-using-Elementor

If you are using Elementor to design templates for your custom post types, do not assign a Toolset Content Template and an Elementor Template to the same content.

Instead, you can directly create a view and then use it in Elementor:

https://toolset.com/course-lesson/using-toolset-with-elementor-page-builder/#Creating-Custom-Lists-of-Posts

In general, if you check the documentation below you will know the dos and don'ts:

https://toolset.com/course-lesson/using-toolset-with-elementor-page-builder/

Thanks.

Hi, I didn't assigned the Toolset Content Template and an Elementor Template to the same content. I had to use a Toolset Content Template, that contains a Blocks View, to display it in an Elementor Template. To do it, I've used a "Shortcode elementor block" where I've added the Toolset Content Template shortcode.

When I tried to display the Blocks View with the "Toolset view elementor block", it didn't worked fine, as I explained in the previous message.

cheers

Hi there,

Thank you for the clarification. To be able to report the issue we need to replicate the issue on a clean installation.
I created a clean installation of WordPress, Toolset, Elementor, and Elementor Pro.
You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below:
hidden link

Would you please create the same scenario there so I can report the issue?

This will help us to report the probable issue to the compatibility team and solve the possible problem faster.

Thank you.
