I'm considering Toolset Access to limit some content (pages) to only logged users.

Is this the right way to do it?
1. Toolset -> Access Control in Post Types tab Pages are set to Managed by Access.
2. Posts Group tab one post group added and unchecked Guest (while keeping other checked).
3. In editing Pages Post Group are set to one created in step 2.

But then, it seems that search is still showing results from these pages (when search is done without logging in).
A. Is there a way to hide those pages and their content from search results?
B. And what more shoulde be done to keep content hidden form other ways, like showing them in XML-sitemap etc.?

Access is designed to help you hide content on a post in a restricted post group, but restricted post titles may still appear in search results or View results. Unfortunately there's not a good way to hide restricted posts from search results right now.

I assume you are referring to a 3rd-party plugin that generates an XML sitemap. Access isn't designed to modify the sitemaps generated by SEO plugins, but often you can use those tools on a post-by-post basis to restrict certain posts from showing up in search engine indexes.
