[Resolved] Toolset Access causes error with send reset link

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to use the "send reset link" button in the user's profile in the dashboard. Unfortunately when activation Toolset Access this button is not working anymore. In the browser console I can see an error in conjunction with the admin-ajax.php. When deactivation Toolset Access the "send reset link" button works fine.

I would like to know that the "send reset link" button in the user's profile is added by what plugin? Is it added by any plugin or theme?

I see you have plugin User Role Editor pro is also installed. is the "send reset link" button is added by this plugin?

If you can share detailed steps how can I see the "send reset link" button on fresh installation I will try to review this issue further.

Hi Minesh, since WP 5.7 this is a WP core feature (https://make.wordpress.org/core/2021/02/22/send-reset-password-links-in-wordpress-5-7/). You won't be able to see this button it in your own profile. So feel free to create a new subscriber. Then open this user profile in the dashboard and you will see the "send reset button" under the profile picture section. When Toolset Access is deactivated it works, when Toolset Access is activated it doesn't.

Ahh - you are right. I was looking at my own profile.

I just created the following brand new sandbox site and you can auto-login to it using the following link:
- hidden link

I created a new user "user-subscriber" and here is the edit profile link:
- hidden link

The Toolset Access plugin is installed and activated on the site and I can still see the "send reset link" button.

Yes, the button is still visible. But try to click the button and you will notice, that there is an error. Then deactivate Access and try again. You will see, the button works.

I would like to inform you that fix for this issue is already released. I advise you to update all Toolset plugins to it's latest official released version.
