Tell us what you are trying to do?
If have updated AVADA (7.0.2), WP (5.5) and Toolset Access (2.8.7). Before, the custom role "recruiter" have had access to the Avada Elements in the Library. After the update only the Administrator has access to the Avada Elements in the Library. The funny part is, that the Avada Templates, which are also located in the library, work in both roles. Here are some screenshots. 1. Admin view, 2. Recruiter view , 3. to 3.3 Settings for the roles.

Looking forward hearing from you

Hi Manual,

Thank you for getting in touch.

It's quite possible here that Avada added some additional permissions for this in their update.

What you can do is to go to the Role editor in Access and check the permissions for the administrator to see if Avada added any new permissions to the Administrator.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

sorry for my delay. Sounds like a try and error method.
Is there any way, to see the permissions in the database? Maybe the naming of the avada component helps me so see why the templates are working and the elements not.

Best regards

Hi Manuel,

Is there any way, to see the permissions in the database?

If its for a specific capability that would allow you to see the component then I doubt there will be a role specified explicitly in database. If there is I wouldn't know what specific permission the Avada component requires.

This is why I recommend that you copy over the administrator permissions to another user role and then remove the permissions from the role that are no longer needed.

As you say this only occurred after an update to Avada itself.

Thanks,
Shane
