I am trying to: Display a featured ajax slider and Custom search with results with ajax

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: Home page, but all site pages

I expected to see: A speedy slider and a speedy search results

Instead, I got: the system is very slow, the slider is very very slow, the custom search is very slow to display results and to paginate results. The server resource sometime going in saturation, CPU Usage up to 99%, Physical Memory Usage up to 70%, ecc...

Hi Francesco,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

I suspect that you are using views on a large site, in this case I would recommend using some form of caching.

One plugin you can use for this is the WP-Super cache plugin as I find that it works really well.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi, thanks for reply.
Now I have activated the WP-Super Cache plugin. The single post page load fast, but if I do a search with the Custom search or want to go in results page 2 or 3, or if there is no results, the content are displayed very very slowly.
Same as when I try to load next page in the content slide.
What could be the issue and the solution?

Hi Francesco,

Could you go ahead and check the information in the link below since you now have the WP-Super Cache plugin installed?

Hi Francesco,

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the website so that I can check on the issue from my end?

The private fields will be enabled for your next response. Also please let me know the page that has the slider.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Francesco,

I would like to see if this issue is being caused by a plugin conflict.

Would mind temporarily disabling all the non-toolset plugins and checking the slider again?

If the issue still remains I would like to take a duplicator package from your website to test it on my local server to see if its caused by your server.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi, I have disabled all non toolset plugin, but the search resuls after a search and the slider, are a little bit fast, but not efficently same as I expected to see.

Yes, you can take a duplicator package from the website to test it on your local server to see if its caused by my server.

Hi Francesco,

I'm having some issues creating the duplicator package.

Is this very urgent to resolve cause i'm trying to investigate the issue.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi, yes. it isvery urgent to resolve cause.
If you want, you can use the WMPU Snapshot that is installed in the site. You can copy from ftp the wp-content folder and with wpmu snapshot you can create the db backup, and you can restore it on you local server.

I'm currently trying the All in One Migration plugin to do the backup.

Will report any updates on this.

Hi Francesco,

It seems the issue is with the view itself. The settings are not being applied immediately on load.

What I recommend is to completely recreate this view and check it on the frontend as I did that with the test site I made an it worked without any issues at all.

Please try and let me know the results on your side.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi, I have recreate the slide view and the custom search view.
Now the slider is ok.
The custom search results is not fast, and the archive pages with the custom search don't display the correct results, relative to the archive, immediately.
See this page: hidden link here I need to see only the Terreno category's items, but when I open it, I see all items.
With the previous custom search view, it was perfect...

And so, another question, now the page title is Categoria Immobile: Terreno, and it is generated with this shortcode

{!{wpv-archive-title}!}

. So, what should I do to display only the Category name without the "Categoria Immobile:"?

Hi Francesco,

I took a look at the link you sent me but its saying that there aren't any properties assigned to this Category.

The shortcode is rendered like this {!{wpv-archive-title}!} if its created through a page builder, if it doesn't work like this then you can replace it with this [wpv-archive-title]

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane
