Is there a way to show the custom post created with Toolset inside the content modules created with Slider Revolution 6?
We need to build up a site that makes wide use of Slider Revolution but we still need the flexibility of the custom fields and posts created with Toolset.

Please let us know if it's available a way to integrate both platforms, or at least how to show the custom post and fields inside Slider Revolution modules.

Thanks.

Hi there

I'm not familiar with Slider Revolution 6, so I can't give you specific advice about how to use it.

But I would point out that custom posts and custom fields created with Toolset are standard WordPress posts and custom fields, so if Slider Revolution 6 is able to output slides based on posts and custom fields then it should be able to output such content made with Toolset.

Just bear in mind that Toolset custom fields are stored in wp_postmeta with a "wpcf-" prefix, e.g. if you have a "status" custom field then the post meta key would be "wcpf-status", that may be relevant when choosing what to display.

It may be that you need to go to the settings page of the slider plugin to confirm which post types should be available, so that you would need to choose the custom post types that should be offered.

Again, given that Toolset post types and custom fields are stored just like other posts and custom fields in standard WordPress database tables, you may need to check with the support for the slider plugin about how to display them.

Hi Nigel, in the meantime I found out that Slider Revolution can display post based content, so I will do a test with custom posts generated with Toolset.
Thanks anyway.
