[Resolved] Theme customizer not working

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Hi,

I am trying to change my current website theme from flatsome to divi so I can use toolset.

However, I faced problems in save and publish when i'm trying to add additional css. I've tested to activate and deactivate plugins. I found that when Toolset Divi Integration plugin is activated, the theme customizer cant save. And if i deactivated Toolset Divi Integration, save and publish works.

Can you help? I dont know why. Cause i've used divi with toolset for another website which works fine. I also tested my current project to change the theme in local, it's works too.

Am I to understand from your last comment that you have two versions of the same site (production and local) and that you have the problem on the production site and not the local site?

Or is the local site you mention a different website?

In any case, can I get the debug info from a server where you experience the problem so I can see what versions you are using to try and reproduce the problem. (https://toolset.com/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/)

Hi Nigel,

Ya. My current live website is running on Flatsome theme which cant work with Toolset. So I wanted to switch the theme from Flatsome to Divi.

So i duplicate the website on local so i can test it without interfere my live site. in local, all things work fine. So i try to duplicate another one to a different domain. But on the theme customizer, it cannot save and publish. With layouts and layouts divi integration plugin activated, problem. if both deactivated, work fine.

I cannot spot any problems in the debug info you supplied, I think I should check your production site and possibly take a copy of the site for testing to examine the problem.

I will mark your next reply as private so that I can get log-in credentials from you—you may want to create a temporary admin user for me to use that you can later delete. And be sure to have a current backup of your site, even though I don't intend to make any changes other than possibly to temporarily add a backup plugin to take a snapshot of the site.

Is there anything in particular in the theme customizer you are trying to update, or it is not possible to make any changes at all?
