The search box can not find any more keywords.

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to use a text search filter to find posts, but the filter does not seem to find custom field values.

Solution: Check the filter settings and be sure the custom field option is enabled.

This support ticket is created 5 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Hi there,

The search box can not find any more keywords, it finds only the words that are in the titles.

I deactivated all plugins except those of Toolset and Relevanssi, but it does not change anything.

For exemple on this page: hidden link if you click on the card of the first artist (Metin Enimehmedov), in his Tab Bio he says: "My acts consist of pantomime, electro boogie dance, iliusion tricks combined with various requisites , laser and light effects."

Now if you come back on the link that I give you and if you enter the keyword "pantomime" in the search box, it does not find anything. The search box can not find any more keywords.

To help you, here is where to find the Field that corresponds to this Bio Tab :
- In the Toolset Dashboard choose the Post Type: ATLAS ACTS
- The name of the Custom field is: Field Group for ATLAS ACTS
- The name of the field is: Descrition & References for ATLAS ACT

Still to help you, here is where to find the View that corresponds to the page:
- The name of the View is: View for ATLAS ACT
- You will find this View by going to the Views menu of Toolset: ID 5593 View for ATLAS ACT

Hello, it looks like the text search filter was configured to search only titles and post content, but not custom fields. See the attachment here. I changed that configuration for you and it seems to be working now, can you confirm?
