[Resolved] “The Post Form could not be found” in CPT view

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user is getting the error "The Post Form could not be found"

Solution:

In this user's case they had added their forms to the page previously but then deleted the forms but didn't remove the shortcode that was referencing this form.

This is was causing this particular error.

PLEASE RESPOND TO GENE@DDAUDIO.COM

I am trying to:
Create a view that shows multiple CPTs (not forms)

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link

I expected to see:
Mutliple Custom Post Types (not forms)

Instead, I got:
"The Post Form could not be found." for every would-be CPT.

Hi Shawn,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

From what I can see something is not loading correctly.

Could you send me a screenshot of the content area of your view so that I can see exactly what your view is trying to display on the page.

This could give me a clue as to why it is happening .

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shawn,

It all seems to check out to me.

Would it be possible to gain admin access so that I can have a look at the page that is giving the issue ?

Hi Shawn,

I've found the issue.

It's being caused by the layout below.
hidden link

You have the layout assigned to the page, however there are 2 forms in the layout that you seem to have deleted. This is why you are getting the error message.

Also not sure why you assigned the Layout to the page. Do you intend to design the pages output using our Layouts plugin ?

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane

Excellent, I got it working. I'm still learning how to use this and a lot of what I'm doing is temporary stuff to test it out.
