The package could not be installed. (PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to fin

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I am unable to update Toolset plugins. I see an error PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT.

Solution: Download Types 3.2.7 from https://toolset.com/account/downloads and install from scratch. Automatic update should be available shortly, but the manual update process is available right now.

This support ticket is created 5 years, 10 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

updating I get a not found on one and this on the other: The package could not be installed. (PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature)

Ive tried from the commercial page - checking for updates first. Ive unregistered and registered again ... not working.

Help!

Hello, unfortunately there was a problem in the installer files rolled out with Types 3.2.5. To fix this, we just released some updates including Types 3.2.7. Those updates should become available shortly for automatic update. If you'd like to get the updates sooner, you can download fresh copies of the Types, Views and Forms plugins from https://toolset.com/account/downloads

My issue is resolved now. Thank you! Uploaded Types manually and then access synced fine.

I have the same problem. BUT this has happened several times before over about the past year. Re-uploading is a waste of time - especially with multiple websites. I hope you fix the issue it once and for all!!!!

I just experienced this error with Toolset Maps when upgrading from 1.7.4 to 1.8.
Following the instructions to removed 1.7.4 to download and install the new version from scratch, however, version 1.8 was not available from the downloads screen.
I reinstalled 1.7.4 and got the error again when I tried to auto-update.
