The newest CRED release is breaking Layouts.

This support ticket is created 6 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello,

I just updated to the newest CRED release, and it is causing my Layouts editor to not load. I disabled CRED, and Layouts started working again.

I will downgrade for now, but please be aware of this issue.

I have all Toolset plugins installed and can still load the Toolset Layouts editor.
As well as only Toolset Forms (former CRED) and Layouts only, it shows no issues.

Please enable WP Debug and see what error is displayed and if this as well happens with only Toolset and native WordPress Theme.

I suspect some PHP/JS error on the Layouts edit Page since you mention it does not load

Further, you should update first as well all Toolset Plugins - at least Types is out of date.

I saw today that a new minor update rolled out for CRED, so I updated and the Layouts problem was resolved.
