I am trying to: redirect a user to a page following successful login

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: redirect to the page hidden link

Instead, I got: a redirect to the WP dashboard

I am using the following shortcode : [wpv-login-form redirect_url="hidden link"]

Can you check whether this happens on a minimal installation?

Your Prevent Direct Access plugin, for example, I could imagine conflicts arising from that.

Disable all plugins except for Views and switch theme to twentynineteen and test again. If it then works, it should be possible to identify the source of any conflict by a process of elimination.

I have disabled all plugins except Wordfence, Toolset and Updraft and set the theme to 2020. The issue still exists.

The issue also exists on the logout link on homepage.

I can give you access as admin but in the meantime you can verify the issue by creating a subscriber user from the homepage.

I don't need those, but I do need the duplicator packages.

Dropbox says that's an empty folder, could you double-check where you uploaded the package files?

In installed the site locally, and when I tested with *all* plugins disabled except for Toolset plugins, it worked as expected.

Maybe your security plugin—WordFence—is intervening here.

Can you disable that and test again?

I have just tested with all plugins except Toolset disabled and I have the same issue on my site

Can I check some of the settings on your site to see if I can spot anything?

Let me mark your next reply as private so that I can get log-in credentials from you—you may want to create a temporary admin user for me to use that you can later delete. And be sure to have a current backup of your site.

The URL you specify for the redirect is hidden link but your site URL is hidden link (no www).
