Hi

I'm trying to set a default layout in the case that a layout is not set for a post.

In the past I would have done this in the layout setting section: 'What to display if no layout is assigned to content'.

I would have checked the radio button 'The content using a following 'default' Layout' and then selected a default layout for posts without a layout.

However this option is greyed out. The only option preselected is 'A blank page with a message'

I've tried temporarily disabling the Access plugin but this hasn't had any effect.

Looking at the console and html output it looks like the input is disabled for some reason.

I've tried selectively disabling plugins which seems to have no effect.

Many thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support.

1.Please add the debug report in the Debug Information box and not paste it in the message box directly. I have also enabled debug info box for your next reply: https://toolset.com/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

2. It seems like you are using Toolset Starter theme.
If yes, then I need to clarify that this is the default behaviour of Layouts, when you are using Toolset Starter theme. And if you want to display content on specific pages or posts where no layout is assigned then you can create a Layout with error message or anything you want to display if no layout is assigned to content and assign this to your specific pages or posts. See attached screenshot.

Thank you
