I am trying to: Add text to a wysiwyg editor and it disappears when I save.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: Text

Instead, I got: No text

The link I get has text in the description area but and that is where the wysiwyg field is. The field has been working up until this last week. I can't show you a sermon where the text isn't showing because this is a live client site and I don't want this to show up on it.

Hello and thank you for contacting Toolset support.

To better assist you with this issue, I'll need more details:
- Where does this issue happen? On a custom field on a post type?
- Does the custom field use the blocks or the classic editor?
- Would you share a copy of your website with us to debug this in a development environment? If yes, Your next reply will be private to let you share credentials safely. I'll install a plugin and I'll take the copy.

I was not able to check this issue because the WYSIWYG editor does not allow me to switch between Visual and Text mode. I reloaded the post and it got stuck at the Text mode, and I am not able to switch back to the visual mode to reproduce the issue.

On the browser console, there is only one error from the Yoast plugin scripts.

Can I take a copy of your website and analyze it locally? I'd like to deactivate all other plugins and switch the theme to make sure this is not happening because of a 3rd party component.

I updated the WordPress version from 5.8.0 to 5.8.1 and the issue is gone. There must have been a bug fix that 5.8.1 corrected. Thanks for looking into this.
