[Resolved] Templates for CPT

This support ticket is created 5 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
Clear the template being used for portfolio items. I have the slug portfolio and the issue is the template says article #2. When i click on the template it says its been deleted. How to I clear this issue?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

I am not sure I follow.

Do you mean you want to un-assign a Content Template, or a Template Layout, or a Content Layout, or even a WordPress Template?
You can manage the assignments of Content Templates in Toolset > Content Templates (and similarly for Template Layouts in Toolset > Layouts)
You can manage WordPress templates only on each single post/page it is assigned to (as that is not managed by Toolset)

Maybe it will help to provide me access to the backend, and the links to where you try to do what, so I can see it and suggest a fast solution.

Note, if your Posts say there is a Content Template assigned, but in fact that template is not available (deleted), we will need to do some database editing, I fear (because this would be an unexpected issue)
In that case, I would also need MySQL Access if possible

A back up of the website is highly suggested in this case.
