When an Editor publishes a new custom post-type post, there is a problem occurring if they enter a title, then go straight to the Publish button and click it. If they click somewhere else on the page to take the focus off the title box first, the Permalink is created, the page is auto-saved, and the problem doesn't occur. This issue also doesn't happen for someone in the Administrator role. The Editor role has the Template Layout dropdown disabled, so that (or something else with their role permissions) must somehow because causing it not to assign properly when they go straight from entering the title to clicking publish, without giving the page a chance to process.
