[Resolved] Taxonomy links not outputting on page

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to show a View of taxonomy links on a Page, but the shortcode isn't working and the View isn't appearing.

Solution: Check to see if the Page has a Content Template or Template Layout applied. If so, make sure the post content shortcode is included somewhere, or add the View shortcode to the template directly.

I am trying to: output custom taxonomy 'composer-long-name' as one column taxonomy link

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: it worked until yesterday, I see there is a bug open in known issues but not sure if this applies to my issue.

Hi, I think there was a problem in chat and this has been converted to a standard support thread. If you'd like more assistance, please provide login credentials here so I can see how you have this set up.

Okay it looks like you have assigned a Content Template to the composers page:
hidden link

The Content Template is empty:
hidden link

This is why nothing appears on the page in the main content area. You can move the View shortcode from the Page contents into the Content Template, or you can add the post content to the Content Template using the Fields and Views button. If you place the View shortcode in the Content Template, it will appear on every post that uses this Content Template.

Let me know if you have questions about that.

Not sure how I assigned a content template, vaguely remember messing around at some point as the alignment of some toolset elements is a little out.

Anyway I didn't need a content template so I just created a new composers page and new composers view.

Thanks again

Simon
