Hi I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction, I'm sure I've seen a guide for this before but I can't seem to find it in the documentation. I want to add an image to my custom taxonomy.

I've created a series of Technical articles for my website. They use the Custom Post type Articles. And a custom Taxonomy called Technologies. Each Technology in the Technologies taxonomy has its own icon.

I want to pull a list of Articles into a view, tag them with the correct Technology category and display the correct icon for the appropriate Technology (see screenshot)

Well - you can first add the custom image field to your taxonomy that will hold the icon:

Later, to display term field on the frontend, you need to create a taxonomy view and add your custom image field.

Hi - I don't seem to have the term fields option - Do I need to install something else?

It looks like Doc is not updated yet.

Go to Toolset => Custom Fields => Term fields tab and create custom term field group as stated in the Doc.

Just one last question I think.

So I have created a view that shows the article post type and in this view I want to show the correct Term view for that view. How do I display that. Do I need to create a view within a view?

Yes - exactly. you need to add taxonomy view that display the custom fields for your taxonomy terms inside the post view loop editor.
