I have a CPT called Tasks, used as an internal task management.
Therefore, all these created posts have the post status 'private'.
With that, a view with a a taxonomy filter doesn't work, as no taxonomy items are shown.
(setting all task posts to 'publish' solves the issue, but is no solution for us).
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
What if you try to add the Query filter for the post status to your view and select "publish" and "private" option and save the Query filter and check if that help you to resolve your issue.
Thanks for your quick reply.
Well, I already tried this with "any", now tried with "publish", "private" (also "private" only), but unfortunately no success.
I need to review how you are displaying the posts and your view's configuraiton.
Can you please share problem URL as well as admin access details.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
As you can see with both ("Projects" and "Task Statuses" taxonomies) none of the term is attached to any post.

To overcome this - I've set the "Custom Search" setting to "Let me choose individual settings manually" and further selected the option "Always show all values for inputs":
=> hidden link
Now if you check the problem URL you shared:
=> hidden link
You will notice both ("Projects" and "Task Statuses" taxonomies) is displaying the options.
