I am trying to: get resultst to display filtered by a the taxonomy type event-teacher.
This is working already on the taxonomy type event-category

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
On this page you can see that all of the events are being displayed for all teachers even though the query filter for this view is set to "Taxonomy is set where this view is inserted".

I expected to see: Only the events that the teacher jock-orton is teaching (in this case he has no evens so I'd expect no results found to display. But the issue is the same if you filter by another teacher for example: hidden link also shows all events for all teachers.

I've set this up exactly the same as event-category which is working perfectly. I've also tried flushing the permalinks several times after I make changes and clearing the cache. And I've also removed the content template from the taxonomy view too just in case that was the issue.

How are your archives set up?

These pages are the event-teacher taxonomy archives.

I expected to find a custom archive at Toolset > WordPress Archives but found none.

So how are you editing the theme's archives? Are you editing the PHP templates directly and inserting a View in the PHP template?

Hi Nigel,

Yes I'm dropping the views directly into the php templates.

Try updating the Query Filter in your View to "Set by the current archive page".
