[Resolved] Taxonomy filter – custom output / Parent terms and child terms

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I want to modify the output of the taxonomy filter. I would like to achieve something like in the print screen sent with this thread.
Basically, I want to display a filter which will display all parents terms and description and check box for each sub terms.
Is there some filter or a recommended way to do this ? Or do I have to create a custom shortcode ?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

There is no such feature available to display the taxonomy filter with term's description.

With taxonomy filter - you can only display the terms and there is no easy way to display term description. I suggest you should file a new feature request using the following link:
