Tag Groups - Toolset

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

We're using toolset for our search page and for upload/edit of new custom posts.

What we'd like to do is group the tags we define in the search (maybe separate columns) and define a sort for them potentially. Any way to do this? I'm guessing something with a custom filter using the api but any thoughts?

Ideally on our upload/edit page we'd love to have all the tags we define listed and categorized (so users can click on/select them and they're standardized).

Thanks on any thoughts.

Going to look into custom taxonomies instead.
