[Resolved] stop trashing of posts in a post-relationship

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The issue here is that the user wanted to disallow the deleting of posts if they are in a Post relationship.

Solution:
Unfortunately no this is not possible because even though the posts are linked they are still individual posts in themselves and can be deleted .

we're trying to determine if Toolset will allow us to create post-relationships (check!) and then limit an admin from unpublishing or trashing a post that is used in a post-relationship until they remove it from that relationship. From my tests I just did, it doesn't seem like that is the case. Please help clarify if this can be done.

Hi Jeremiah,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Unfortunately no this is not possible because even though the posts are linked they are still individual posts in themselves and can be deleted .

Thanks,
