I am interested in performing 'split testing' or 'AB testing' to serve multiple versions of certain post content to users to monitor which performs better.

Before using toolset I would do this with 3rd party plugins (there are a lot likeNelio AB Testing, Optimizely, etc.). I do not see any documentation or discussion here, are there certain preferred plugins or documentation around this?

I'm specifically worried about integration with the different layers of toolset views, layouts, etc. Mostly this would just be different versions of the content at a certain URL or widget (i.e. not different views or layouts, which I imagine are harder)

Anyone with experience (confirmation of successful use) or best practices to get me started would be great!

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - you have ContentA and ContentB in a specific page and when you visit that page, you see randomly content A or B.
This is split (or A/B) testing.

This is question related to Testing/QA and and I suggest you should contact professional Tester or QA who will guide you in right direction because how to implement the test cases is up to the person who design the test cases and it also depends on with which product you are working on and what test platform you are using.

Okay, I must have been unclear in my question (so sorry!) because I know what split testing is and have run many but never on a toolset site (or a wordpress one for that matter).

I am looking for a recommendation of a split testing plugin or any documentation that exists in toolset so I don't end up wasting time on a solution that doesn't work.

Please confirm that there is no documentation or options within toolset that will allow me to perform split testing and you have no advice or experience as to what plugins or options may integrate easily or well

I'm a bit surprised you can't provide any insight since most professional ecommerce websites use these. Maybe there is someone else who can help?

In the absence of advice I'll start by trying a few like Nelio AB Testing and/or Optimizely. If I learn anything useful I'll post it in case someone finds this later.

==> yes - I can confirm that there is no such Docs exists on testing but I will check with concern person and forward your request as new feature request and if they approve it you will see the testing related Doc added to our Docs section in near future.

Thank You Minesh. I appreciate the help. It would be great functionality but I understand if it is not the priority.
