I checked on my local test install by adding a number field and created the view with the same settings but I do not see any issue.
I will give another try and check whats going wrong here. By the way, how do you want that search should behave, it should only work when search button clicked?
Opps. As the original ticket marked as resolved, I lost the access details you shared. Can you please send me wp-admin access details and I will check further.
On my local test install, with a normal view, it works as expected when I change the filter it filters the results using AJAX without clicking on search button. I need to check why its not working on your page.
Ok - You need to go with the search setting "Full page refresh when visitors click on the search button" as there is no way to fire search request when you have text search added to your custom search view. It needs search button.
And the way we modified the view to search in the repeating field group fields as well, that is another reason that you need to to go with the search settings Full page refresh when visitors click on the search button" .
