[Resolved] Split Search checkboxes and results into 2 columns on Archive page

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

How to move the search section to the sidebar to have a 2 column layout in the Views or Archive page.

Tell us what you are trying to do? I'm trying to split the Archive page into 2 columns with the search on the left and the results on the right. I realize I could do this with css, but I have used the block editor to accomplish this on a non-archive page before.

Is there a similar example that we can see? hidden link (screenshot below) This is a site I did before--It has a lot of custom code because of the complexity of the post structure, but the part with the search on the left and results on the right are what I am trying to accomplish here.
