I have a Post form that user can access from front end and that works fine.
But i now added the Tags functionality also so they can add tags from front end.
The form it self has english lables etc. but some of the users will add swedish characters.
When i try this and add ex "Barnpår" the first step works. it shows correct.
But when i post the form, all the characters is messed up. on front end. But on back end they still is correct.
I cont find out why...

The wordpress settings is that show site in Swedish language.

tag1.jpg = Back end
tag2.jpg = fist step when adding to form without posting
tag3.jpg = posted the form and tags look like this in front end.

EDIT
After RE-post with new tag "Båtar" the wrong tags is re-added in backend with messed up characters.

thanks for help!

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Based on your screenshots, it seems that the tag gets saved multiple times, with and without the Swedish characters, right?

Can you please reproduce this issue on this test site hidden link

If it is reproduced, I'll escalate it to our 2nd tier for another evaluation before it goes to the developers.

We should exclude possible compatibility conflicts. Please check if this issue appears when:
- Only Toolset plugins are activated. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with another plugin.
- The theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty-Twenty. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme.
If the problem disappears, start activating one at a time to track where the incompatibility is produced.

If it is not reproduced, I'll need to take a closer look at your website. I might also need to take a copy, let me know if that is fine with you.
Your next reply will be private to let you share credentials safely. ** Make a database backup before sharing credentials. **

Oh, it will take along time to set up on that sandbox.
I cant do that.
I have tried use twenty twenty and also deactivated all plugins except yours, toolset. still makes meesed up characters

Thank you! If the issue is reproduced on this clean install, I'll be able to escalate it to our 2nd Tier who can, then, escalate it to the developers.

Otherwise, I'll need to check your website, and I may need to take a copy of it to further investigate it and confirm if it is a general bug or not.
