Tell us what you are trying to do? Create two sorting dropdowns, one that filters "type" and another for "sector," which were created using a checkbox item. I would also like this to say "Type" and "Sector" not "Post Type"

Is there any documentation that you are following? No.

Is there a similar example that we can see? hidden link

Hi there

In your question you mix "sorting" and "filtering"; I assume you mean "filter".

Can you clarify what are "type" and "sector"?

They are both custom fields?

They are both a checkbox field? Where they can either be checked, or unchecked?

Or perhaps you mean a checkboxes field, where one or more different options can be checked, for each field.

And you want to add filters for these fields to a View, displayed as dropdowns.

Would that be right?

Inserting search filters is described here: https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-custom-search/#1-creating-the-custom-search-form

If you are adding filters for checkboxes fields then by default the filters would display as checkboxes; if your question is how to display as dropdowns, you can change that in the "Field settings" in the sidebar when the filter block is selected.

The course lesson you shared has helped me resolve the issue. Thank you!
