Hi there...
I have a problem when sorting products on shop...
I'm use 2 sorting... first sorting is I'm sort by custom field and second is sort by post date...
All sorting is fine but when sort by post date, the product have a same post date will show randomly... sometime the product show in page 1 then when refresh, it show in page 2....
Can you help me for second sorting?
Thanks...
Hi, I'll be glad to help. Can you tell me:
1. What type of custom field is used for primary sorting? What values are stored in that custom field?
2. Are you using AJAX to update this View, or full page refresh?
3. Please temporarily deactivate all plugins except Types, Views, WooCommerce Views (if you are using it) and WooCommerce. Then switch to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen. Test again.
4. If the problem is resolved, reactivate your theme and other plugins one by one until the problem returns.
Please always add your site's debug information to each ticket so we can see your configurations quickly. More information about that here: https://toolset.com/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/
My primary sorting is a datepicker field and my secondary sorting is post date... ordering.png is my ordering setting...
In shop (marketplace), to search and filter, I'm use AJAX and for pagination/ next page, I'm use full refresh...
I'm cannot deactivate plugin because this is a live site...
I've provided toolset debug information here...
I'm cannot deactivate plugin because this is a live site...
Okay if you cannot perform the tests on a live site, I can log in and create a clone of your site using the Duplicator plugin. Then I can install that clone on my own local site so I can run tests without affecting your live site. If that's okay with you, please provide login credentials in the private reply fields here.
Hi, I can see several problems here.
1. Many of your plugins are out of date. Please update to the latest version of WooCommerce and update all Toolset plugins to their latest versions.
2. I cannot access the Shop page right now on the live site, can you check? I am using the login credentials you provided earlier, and I was able to access the Shop page before. Are you testing something?
3. You must turn off Avada's shop ordering. Go to Avada > Theme Options > WooCommerce and turn OFF WooCommerce Shop Page Ordering Boxes.
4. After updating WooCommerce Views, go to Toolset > WooCommerce Views and uncheck "Use default WooCommerce sorting for product archives."
Let me know the results of these changes and we can go from there.
I've tried and set all you said but it not worked well...but it's okay because they want to sort by ID.. it's same like we sort by date but ID is more unique than date....
Well, thanks for help me for this thing though it's not fully solve this problem...
