I am trying to: remove a event from frontpage slider. first untoggled view at frontpage, after that deleted event, and it still shows. Fisk & skaldyrsaften (fish & seafoodnight)

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: Event removed

Instead, I got: still viewing - but only on pageload,. first time

That slider is made with a View, which iterates over some event posts, is that correct?

And you deleted the event post from your site but it still shows in the slider?

It is hard to imagine that the fields (the image etc.) could still be displayed if it has been deleted, even if the View is cached (the results of the View may be cached, but the field values still need to be output).

Can you disable caching on the View and also try flushing what ever other caching you have in place?

(And be sure that you really did delete that event.)
