Problem:
The issue here is that the user wanted to use a custom field as a secondary sorting in views.
Solution:
Unfortunately no this is not possible as your views can only be secondary sorted by the default fields that are available on your posts.
This support ticket is created 5 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.
