[Resolved] SiteGround Optimizer breaking views

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The problem here is that when the user is using the sitegrounds optimizer plugin their view's aren't being displayed correctly on the frontend.

Solution:

The setting that was causing issues with views is the "Combine JavaScript Files" under SG Optimizer->Frontend -> Javascript.

Once this was disabled your view's display and functionality should return.

Also we recommend following the guide below on how to use our Plugins with optimization plugins.

Tell us what you are trying to do? Use SiteGround Optimizer plugin. I have read the Toolset FAQ and prior Support posts regarding the exclusion of CSS and js files which I believe I added to the SG Optimizer. Deactivating Optimizer brings back all my views correctly. Or perhaps there is another setting in the SG Optimizer that I am missing? Also running PageSpeed I get better results not using SG Optimizer? Something is definitely not right...

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi Clement,

Thank you for getting in touch.

If I recall there is a specific setting in the siteground plugin that is causing this issue. Unfortunately this plugin only works on sites being hosted with sitegrounds.

What I can do is to log into the site and let you know what the specific setting is. Also please let me know the page that you're having the issue with so that I can verify that disabling this setting will allow the view to function correctly again.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Clement,

The issue with the sitegrounds plugin should now be resolved.

The setting that was causing issues with your view is the "Combine JavaScript Files" under SG Optimizer->Frontend -> Javascript.

Once this was disabled your view's display and functionality returned for logged out users.

Thanks,
Shane
