I am trying to:
- Save view with the drag & drop builder: Server crashes. Could you login and help me finding the problem?
- Also, I think this is related to the same issue, I fear to update Elementor at the moment, because I had issues with "502" and "404 Content not found" after update. I also fear to delete unused custom field elements, as I would run into the problem described above.
Could you make a duplicate and see why Toolset is messing up Backend?
Thank you so much for your kind help!

I expected to see: normal running page without speed issues
Instead, I got: error message. Also if someone saves texts into my custom fields, page is slow loading. Since Toolset the backend seems to slow down.

Also, I think this is related to the same issue but not sure, I fear to update Elementor at the moment, because I had issues with "502" and "404 Content not found" after update. I also fear to delete unused custom field elements, as I would run into the problem described above.
These are custom toolset fields I would like to delete, but I am afraid to face 502 error afterward. They need to be deleted clean somehow / disconnect from the template of the view. Don't know if the update issue is connected to that!
Just to clarify:
The problems started with the current Toolset configuration.
#1 is server crashes while saving the view (the drag & drop builder)
"RESOURCE LIMIT IS REACHED"
(is updating elementor & learndash safe or do we run into 502 errors / content not found problems?)
#2 deleting unused custom fields safely, without running into 502/404 content not found issues
I hope that clarifies the issues! Thank you so much!!
I managed to take a copy of the site and deployed it locally. When I checked you console for the page it appears that there were a few javascript errors in the console .
Currently the issue is pointing to the LearnDash LMS - Course Grid plugin and as soon as this plugin was disabled I was able to save the page without any issues at all.
Secondly regarding the speed of your website. It would appear to be a case of the number of plugins installed on the site. when i disabled all the non-toolset plugins and leaving only WPML and Toolset enabled the page loads fine but as soon as elementor is enabled then we can see a slowdown.
So I would recommend that you update elementor as well as to see which plugins you have that aren't needed anymore and disable them.
thank you so much for your awesome and kind investigation.
What do you think makes the error with the grid view plug-in? It worked well a long time. I really need this standard plug-in, it would be awesome if you could investigate the reason of this behavior ✌️✌️ It started to make issues with toolset activated.
Regarding elementor: are you able to update it in your copy? When I updated it, the whole page had loading issues with elementor / 502.
It would be nice if you could check the update and let me know if it’s safe to install!
Are you able to create "new page" - "Open in Elementor" ?
Yes in my testing on the latest version i'm still able to create a new page and edit it with elementor. I'm not getting any errors.
Thanks! So from what I see is that it's safe to update to Learndash and Elementor? Any chance to have a look into your copy?
In my testing yes it would be safe to update the plugins however my server environment is different so the results may vary. My recommendation is to backup your existing site before performing the update. This way if anything goes wrong you can simply restore the site.
