Hi Nigel
I haven't seen your last reply before now and I will check it out again.
I actually thought that I could use a copy of a view but if I understand you correct I have to build a view from scratch each time.
I get back within a day I think iff I have further problems
Best regards
Kristen

Hi again Nigel.
I have build totally new Views from scratch on these 3 pages:

hidden link
hidden link
hidden link

The problem is still when I change the text in the custom field "Excerpt for box on archieve page" on the following 2 pages

hidden link
hidden link

the text in one custom field overwrite the other custom field text.

Please try and log in to the page to see if you can see anything I have done wrong because I can't see it.

Best regards

Kristen

Sorry if I wasn't clear in my last update, but you are also using the same View to display the flags on these two pages:

hidden link
hidden link

(Both use the same View, with View ID 4748).

If you remove the View from one of the pages and add back a new View (not inserting a copy of the same View) that does the same, that should disentangle things.

Thank you for clearing that up.
I will try it today.
I'm just curious why Toolset has a "use the same view" or "Copy a View" if it doesn't work?
I'll be back when I've changed one of the views with flags.
Best regards
Kristen

Hello again Nigel.
I've deleted and build a new View on this page: hidden link
It looks like that works.
My question is about the other views on other pages: Should I be worried that they will make the same problems as these pages?
Just asking because I've build them with copies of the original view...
Best regards
Kristen

Again, this site is very unusual, in that it uses pages for everything, rather than using custom post types for the different kinds of content. So you have multiple Views that are added to pages, each of which queries pages, and then these same Views are copied onto other pages. I think that is where the entanglement with copied Views arises. I didn't manage to reproduce the problem, so I can't say for sure what causes it, but if you are using a similar set up on other pages you should be on the lookout for the same problem arising.
