This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: I would like to create a simple select field menu that contains the titles of each CPT post. When the user selects a title, I want to navigate directly to that post.
Solution: Another ticket in the forum discusses one approach that uses a View to create a select field with options for each post. There is some custom JavaScript that navigates to the correct URL when the user selects a post.
