Im trying to show the related posts, which exist in the database but don't show in the backend of wordpress. When re-adding the relationship the post does show and a value is written to wp_post_meta. When trying to find the value in the database, it seems non-existing or non related to the toolset tables. The correct relations do exist and show up on the frontend, but are hidden in the backend. Do you have any suggestions how to tackle this problem?

Hello and thank you for contacting Toolset support.

Please correct me if I am wrong, the issue that you are facing is that relationships do not appear on the backend, right?
If you have activated the blocks editor for the custom post type, please check that the panels for relationships are enabled in the preferences. Check this screenshot hidden link

If you are using the classic editor, make sure the relationship meta box is enabled in the screen options. Check this screenshot hidden link

If this does not help, please check if this issue appears when:
- Only Toolset plugins are activated. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with another plugin.
- The theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty-Twenty. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme.
If the problem disappears, start activating one at a time to track where the incompatibility is produced.

If that does not help fix the issue or find the root cause behind it, I'll need to take a closer look at your website. And I might also need to take a copy to debug locally. Let me know if that's fine with you.

PS: Please note, that the Toolset relationships are no more stored in the postmeta table. Starting from Toolset Types 3.0 we are storing relationships in our own tables.
