Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have created a custom post type called events, in the event tab I want to be able to select similar events within each tab. I see that there is an option that allows me to select post, but it does not let me select from the custom post type events. How can I let the similar event that accompanies my event be selectable?
I know that relationships can be created if I have made a custom post type called events and other artists, and have related one to the other, but I have the web made in this way and it would be more work to modify everything

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I can't find

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi Oscar,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Based on what I see here you want to relate one event to another correct? Hence the use of the Post reference field?

Can you confirm that this is the approach so that I can best advise?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Oscar,

There is a way to relate the posts to each other. If you go to Toolset -> Post Type and edit your post type then select hierarchical, you can use the wordpress default hierarchy option in order to set parents for your posts so they can be related to each other.

This is the only way I can think of doing it since you can't relate posts to each other user our relationship and post reference fields.

Thanks,
Shane

It doesn't work for me, the artists can't be that way, I've finally created a repetitive field where I'll manually add a photo and the url to the other artist's file

Hi Oscar,

No problem. Happy that you were able to find an alternative. If there are no further queries on this then you can go ahead and mark this ticket as resolved.

Thanks,
